The Wound Care Advantage is a specialized program designed to treat chronic non-healing wounds. Comprised of specialty trained wound care professionals including various sub-specialty physicians, nursing and support staff, Wound Care Advantage Programs utilize a comprehensive pathway that delivers technologically advanced therapies to meet the needs of each individual patient.
The Wound Care Advantage treats wounds associated with the following:
· Arterial or Venous Disease
· Pressure
· Diabetes
· Malignancy
· Osteomyelitis
· Radiation
· Infection
The Wound Care Advantage offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for the following approved indications:
· Compromised Skin Graphs and Flaps
· Acute Traumatic Peripheral Ischemia or Arterial Insufficiency
· Diabetic Wounds of the Lower Extremities
· Radiation Necrosis, Osteoradionecrosis, or Soft Tissue Radiation
· Chronic Refractory Osteomyelitis
· Progressive Necrotizing Infections
